Well, What most of you ask Jason!!(or would like to!)
Q: Is this actually Jason Marsden or some impostor?
A: Really me.
Q: Was that actually you who DOVE off the yardarm
in "White Squall"?
A: Nnnnnope. A young professional diver from the UK doubled
me in that scene. I DID climb up and out onto the edge of the yard (with NO safety net below). Heights don't bother me...It's
falling and cracking my skull that freaks me out.
Q: How may I get an autograph?
A: Send me your 'dress...I'll send you a pic.
(I'm a lazy procrastinator sometimes, so it might take a few days...But, I'm getting better! Reall...I am!)
Q: Which do you like better, voice-overs or on-camera?
A: My ego much prefers to be on-camera, but the fun
factor in voice-overs is wayyy off the scale.
Q: What's been your most favorite project to work
on?
A: "Eerie Indiana" - Hands down. Lotta fond memories.
Too much fun.
Q: Why was "Eerie" cancelled?
A: Just not enough viewers.
Q: Exactly what would have happened to Dash X? Would
we have found out his origin?
A: We might never know. I remember Producer/Creator
Karl Schaeffer indulging me with some ideas that were kicked around. Dash was man-made (a la Frankenstein). He was an alien.
Or maybe he was from another dimension or time (which was hinted in episode "Loyal Order of Corn").
Q: Do you have a favorite voice character?
A: Have to be "Max"! Goofy's son.
Q: Are you related to James Marsden?
A: Interesting answer here. Technically, no. We are
not related. However, my wife and Jimmy's wife have been best friends since they were 6. So, it's an amazing coincidence that
they both have grown up to marry "Marsdens".
Q: Do you think you could write me a personal letter
via snail mail?
A: Sorry, I know it seems impersonal, but I'm much
more comfortable corresponding via e-mail. I can reach a greater number of peeps faster, and it's important to me that everyone
gets an equal amount of attention. Plus, I only like to stick to answering industry related questions and not divulging too
much of my personal life.
Q: How come you don't have any pictures of you on
your website?
A: I'll admit my egocentric personality would LOVE
to plaster my site with pics of ME ME ME!!! But, I'm trying to "utilize the internet as a tool" and not be a "tool utilizing
the internet".
Q: What are you doing now?
A: I've currently absolved myself from the on-camera
world for the time being to pursue a career in directing. Still doin' cartoons, though!
